The Obama Bet

If you’re registered as a Democrat and you live in one of the 22 Super Tuesday states* and you’re thinking about either not voting or voting for Hillary Clinton, please take me up on the following bet.

Watch at least one of the below videos. If even one of them inspires you and makes you think, “Barack Obama is pretty awesome, I’d like him to be our next president,” you must go vote for him on Tuesday, Feb. 5th in the Democratic Primary. If the videos don’t do anything for you and you’re not excited about Barack Obama then so be it. You can either not vote for him or vote for Hillary Clinton with a clear conscience. If you take the bet, you’re only obligation is to watch a video and follow your heart. I just want to make you know what you’re missing.

So here we go:

Video #1: The 2004 DNC Keynote Address, Part 1, 9 mins 58 s. This is the speech that launched Obama onto the political scene. It moved me deeply and gave me hope for the future of American politics.

Video #2: The 2004 DNC Keynote Address, Part 2, 8 mins. 2 s. If the above grips you, keep watching here.

Video #3: South Carolina Victory Speech 16 mins. 41 s. If you’re just starting to get fired up, watch Barack’s mid-campaign speech about the momentum he’s generating, what he’s going to do with it, and how he’s going to do it.

*That is, if you live in: Alabama, Alaska, Arizona, Arkansas, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Georgia, Idaho, Illinois, Kansas, Massachusetts, Minnesota, Missouri, Montana, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, North Dakota, Oklahoma, Tennessee, Utah, or West Virginia
